| ... saturday dustin got arrested for breaking & entering... j/k :) ... nah, he accidentally tripped the alarm of a lady's house... he was mowing her lawn & blowing off the leaves from her back deck when he went through the wrong door in the garage... a few minutes later an incredibly loud siren goes off, neighbors come out, & the police show up... it sounded extremely amusing, although i'm sure harry was a little nervous to be approached by the cops... (especially since one happened to have an attack dog in the car)... but it has made a really good story ever since... so yeah, just wanted to share that with y'all... i hope you're having a great day/week!...

| ... on our way down to our concert last night, my mom & i started talking about ways God had been faithful to us over the years... she simply asked me to think about things God done, both big & small, that really built up my faith or just let me know that He was there... gosh, it was such a good conversation... i think it's so easy to take things that God does for us for granted... or we just don't put it together that, oh yeah, that was totally God-orchestrated... and those times when we're doubting or just feeling really abandoned, it would help us out so much if we'd just sit down & do what my mom & i did... think about all the times God has loved on us, blessed us, & shown us He was there... then hopefully we'd realize that "you know what, God really does care about me... and shoot, if He's taken care of me this far, why would He leave me now?"... He wouldn't... it's that simple... but anyhow, i just wanted to share that little tidbit with y'all... and so, my question for today is... what is something that God has done for lately that built up your faith & let you know God was watching out for you?... here's my quick little example...
... i went to work one day not having any cash for food (wasn't getting paid till the day or two afterwards) & without any food in the fridge... and i knew it when i woke up that morning that that was what my situation looked like... but i basically said, "God, you know i don't have any money & that i only have a few carrots & grapes to eat... so i know you're either going to help me with the hunger or you'll provide something for me to eat... " ... (plus some other stuff, but that's between God & i :) ) ... so, i went to work & was doing, you know, work... and right around lunch time, i pulled out what i had & began to eat it... well, about that time, another lady from the office came back from getting her lunch... and you know what?... she had gone to arby's & gotten the 5 for $5.95 deal & basically told me to eat at least one of the sandwiches!... ok, so i know this might not seem like a big deal to you... but to me, it was God answering my prayer & God providing for me once again... i don't think God always has to work in big, miraculous ways for us to grow closer to Him or to increase our faith in Him... i think a lot of our growth comes from the smaller, more intimate little things... like providing my lunch for me... :) ... God is so good...
... ok, well, i'll apologize if you feel like i've rambled too much... i pray, though, that you will remember that God is always there & He is always watching out for you... He loves you so much!... and you know what?... even though my love doesn't even come close to comparing to His, i love you, too!... :)

| ... well, i'm taking the semester off from school... danny & i both are, actually... we're taking this time to focus in on the band & get things going with that... so, we'd appreciate any prayers we can get with that... :)
... in other news, we're playing the music for a wedding coming up at the end of the month & we met with the couple tonight to go over the song list & order... the couple is so cute... they are literally counting down to the minute how long they have till they marry... :) ... it's so sweet... and i have to admit a little something... while we were in the church going over the ceremony, the bride, mary, & i started talking about decorations... and i made a little suggestion for something she could do... and she loved it!... it made me smile... anyhow, i'm looking forward to that... weddings are so awesome...
... well, i hope y'all are doing great... shannon, i will be calling you soon... rylan, i am wondering about you & your online journal... i'm hoping you're just saying the dumb things you are just to stir up arguments... if not, we're going to have words... and then fight... :) ... ian, you're wonderful... and thank you...

| ... so... my life went from crappy to worse to amazing... God is awesome... and He was so faithful through it all... wow... God is so good...
... i'm sorry, ryry, it's taken so long to update... and now, i'm sorry again, but you're going to have to wait longer to hear more... but, no worries... i'll write more soon :) ... of course, i don't know why you care... other than the fact that you're madly in love with me... ;)

| ... hey all (all three of you :) )... sorry it's been so long since i have updated this thing... i hope you've been enjoying your summer... i've enjoyed mine so far, but i know the best is still yet to come... God has been really good to me & my family & our band these past few weeks... He is so faithful... it is truly amazing how much He loves us & how intricate of a plan He has detailed out for each one of us...
... well, i promise to write more soon, but for now i must go... i love you all & i pray you are falling more in love with the One who sings over you...
